Cheap Park City Hotels

Named one of the top 20 prettiest towns in the United States by Forbes Traveler magazine in 2008, Park City, Utah is a hot spot for skiing, dining and shopping. Once a silver mining town, Park City has built its reputation on its amazing powder and three ski resorts: Deer Valley, Canyons and Park City Mountain. This reputation was further solidified during the 2002 Olympics with many events being held at these ski resorts. Visitors can still check out the Utah Olympic Park and the 2002 Winter Olympics Museum. Another annual event that draws crowds is the Sundance Film Festival held every January. Many celebrity sightings take place during this time. Park City Winterfest in February is also a fun event that includes fireworks, cross-country skiing tours, ice sculpting and live music. Even though this city is known for its skiing and other winter sports, Park City is really a year-round destination perfect for nature enthusiasts. Summer visitors enjoy hiking, mountain biking and golf. The Park City Mountain Resort has many summer activities including zip lines, alpine coasters and slides, and the Adventure Zone that's just for kids, with a spider slide, climbing wall and climbing web. This destination is perfect for families looking for adventure in the great outdoors.
